The Artist
Hi, I’m Natasha, I’m an artist born and raised in a small mountain town of Sedalia, Colorado. My love for art began in second grade when I saw a drawing a family friend had done of an eagle and I thought, I want to draw like that. I have spent much of my life drawing and painting both animals and nature in a realism style using oil, acrylic, and my favorite, watercolor. Over the last few years my style has shifted from realism to surrealism. I draw inspiration from my two favorite artists, M. C. Escher, and Max Ernst. I combine surrealism with nature while using symbolism to tell stories of my life. While I spend a lot of my time painting, I am also an art teacher. My passion in life is for teaching, and I feel lucky I get to live my dream every day. I also teach paint classes for groups and 1:1, so send me an email and lets get you painting!
